Asharqia Chamber Endowments Committee will organize next Sunday a training program on principals and governance councils
Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Endowments Committee, is organizing, on Sunday, September 20, 2020 , a new training program entitled (Towards an Effective Glasses Council that Achieves Governance), offered by the committee member, Engineer «Musa bin Muhammad Al-Musa».
The program targets the boards of directors and the glasses of private and public endowments, whether institutional or family, and aims to activate the role of these councils, achieve the endowment strategy, liberalize the roles of committees, departments, audit, investment and control, develop the work of leaders, and improve the performance of these councils.
The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, said that the Asharqia Chamber, through the Endowment Committee, provided the capabilities and support in order to revive the endowment culture among the business sector, and coordinated with several official and non-official bodies with the aim of developing the systems and regulations that govern endowment projects, and that this program It represents a continuation of the efforts towards promoting the culture of endowments as a legitimate destination that aims to support the economic and developmental growth of society.
Al-Khalidi stressed the importance of the program, including the topic of great importance in organizing endowments and making them more effective, namely the governance of the supervisory boards, with what governance brings in terms of transparency and clearer visions regarding the board of directors and its management mechanisms and how it leads the endowment to achieve quality and excellence in performance.
